  • Personal Beliefs I consider myself Spiritual----I was raised in a christian home went to a Southern Conservative Baptist Church.....Went to a private Catholic Academy (elem. & J. H.S.) for my schooling. (That set our Pastor back on his heels).......... So became a Catholic in my 20s but my late husband got mad at the church and he refused to step foot in a Catholic church again.......... So we went back to my old Baptist Church........Confusing isn't it.......... Presently I attend a UU church.......... I believe in the Great Creator of us all....... I follow a native path in my spirituality.........I am continuing my studies in native healing under the guidance of a native healer......I am a Shamanic Healer.......I am a Reiki Practitioner.......I co-run an eclectic group of all faith/belief paths........I speak in churches when asked.........I team teach on different religions to educate people to be tolerant of others........I believe that we should all respect each others different faith paths and not to judge..........Judge not lest ye be judged.........

  • Mother's Day...

    Posted May 13

A mother gives birth and know the pains and joys of bringing our children into this world.  Mothers teach their children, watch them grow, worry about them and protect them. She blesses each one of her children to be all that they can be.  A mother's wish is to be as perfect and dedicated as she can be to these children.  ...

  • The Power of Prayer

    Posted April 21

This is my talk for the Power of Prayer for my gathering...   The reasons we pray are many, some pray asking for many things such as our health, our family, our financial sitiutation, for forgiveness and to thank our Creator for the many blessings he has bestowed on us.    We all hope our prayers ar...

  • Solitude

    Posted January 9

I went to my special place this morning, the place that gives me the solitude that I need to ponder and to ask the Creator's help in a matter that needs to be resloved.   Time does not exist for me in this solitude.  I close my eyes in this quietness, I only hear my breathing, in and out. I open my heart and mind to lis...

  • Good Day.

    Posted November 19, 2011

Sometimes you wonder what is going on in your own little world... You go to work, visit friends, family and go on about your life and then you get that phone call.  Now I am not talking about anything bad happening but the call from out of nowhere from someone you have not talked to, I mean really talked to in long time.. Never knew why the...

  • Blink of an Eye

    Posted November 9, 2011

Last night as I was driving home a tree fell into the road on top of my car, needless to say that I was a little shaken up about it but did not feel the need to post it here or on face book.  However, today as I went passed that spot on my way to work, I saw the tree and all I can say is wow this could have been so much worse. The tree was ...

  • Stillness

    Posted November 7, 2011

There are moments in our life that we need to be still.   We need to sit down slow our mind and heart.   We need to listen for the answers to all those questions we have.   In the quietness we will hear those answers in our heart and mind.   We all need to take t...

  • In Memory of John 1955 - 2011

A very dear and long time friend passed away recently... His girlfriend and daughter gave me his card and the saying is so beautiful I wanted to share it with you...   You toiled so hard for those you loved. You said goodbye to none, Your spirit flew before we knew, Your work on earth was done. ...

  • Faith

    Posted July 25, 2011

Faith is a gift of the Creator.   It is not a material that can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or touched;   But is as real as anything that can be perceived with these senses.   One can be aware of Faith as easily as one can be aware of earth.   Faith is as ce...

  • In being Loved.

    Posted July 23, 2011

It is in loving, not in being loved, the heart is blessed.   It is in being true to who you are, not pretending to be someone else, the heart is blessed.   It is in being true to your loved ones, not pretending to love, the heart is blessed.   It is in giving, not in seeking gifts, w...

Yesterday at the para legal meeting, I was talking to a woman who lives in the area of NJ that I used to live... We had a nice conversation about the area and then she asked me a question, "How do you do it after everything you have been through in your life how do you keep smiling?"  "Why are you not bitter".   I smile...

Earth-based Spirituality is about understanding our connection and place on Web of Life. All faiths, back-ground, nationality, etc., are welcome. The only requirement, is a desire/passion to undo, the damage we have done. There is no one way or pill that will make up whats been done. Our journey starts from within, change ourselves, so we are no longer the problem, from there- so much damage to recover from, so much to be done. What, we all have to do is start, taking responsibility for ourselves and our species, race, gender, etc. No more excuses. We are the problem, (myself included). This isn't an doom day reasoning, its fact. Yes, we more than likely are to late, but we fought this hard to mess things up, are we just going to give up? This isn't a blame group. Only together do we have a slim chance. We will not get much support from our leaders, both sides are double speak, withholding information, straight out lying and selling out. Any and all ideas are welcome.

An oblate in monasticism is a person who is specifically dedicated to spiritual service. “Oblate” is also used in the official name of some religious orders. Oblates individually affiliate themselves in prayer and meditation with a monastery of their choice. These make a formal private promise (annually renewable for life) to follow the rule of prayer and meditation in their private life as closely as their individual circumstances and prior commitments permit. The Oblates affiliated with Universal Life Monastery share a cordial ecumenical and international common fellowship. GOD Made Dirt! It’s amazing to know that Jesus was not afraid to get His hands dirty. He worked for a living with tools and continued to be hands on and approachable in His ministry. The blind man asked Jesus to heal him and Jesus knelt down got some dirt and mixed it with spit and packed his sockets with mud. On another occasion, a woman caught in adultery was brought to Him and the people wanted her killed according to the law but Jesus knelt down and wrote in the sand “Let the one without sin throw down the first stone”. She was not accused by men or God. No matter how dirty you’re past or present, God’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. Jesus wants us to come to Him and: 1. Admit our Sins. 2. Repent, turn around walk the other way. Let the Word of God purge your hearts. 3. Except Jesus as your one and only savior.
