You can mouth the words of a prayer all day long and just waste your time, unless you also speak with your heart. And to speak with your heart means to embody first. If you pray for love, be loving. If you pray for wealth, be generous. If you pray for health, practice health yourself. What is your favorite prayer? How can you begin to embody it?

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God....... Thoughts on This Verse... Let's live as if we've been redeemed! Let's show our love and character in our daily lives. Let's especially work together, with one voice and spirit, making a vigorous effort to share the Gospel with those who have never heard of the grace of God in the ministry of Jesus. In the face of opposition, let's not be deterred or divided. Instead, let's work hand-in-hand for the cause of the Gospel. less

Rev Terence Bean → Christ the King: 1 John 4:8 (NIV). Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love....... Thoughts on This Verse... An unloving person -- a person who does not show love through his or her actions -- doesn't know God. It's that simple. Enough said.

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain....... Thoughts on This Verse... Our financial investment opportunities can be fickle. Friends can disappoint you. Nothing is truly sure except one thing, or better yet, our very special Someone! If we build our lives on his work and his plan, we can hang in, persevere, and even triumph regardless of what happens in this life. less

Thoughts on This Verse... I love the fact that I do each day what everyone will one day do: bow before the majesty and proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ to honor the Father's glory. How wonderful it is to be able to make that proclamation because of grace rather than in fear at the end of a life that has been spent in what is rebellion, denial, and waste. less

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord....... Thoughts on This Verse... Nothing could keep Jesus from coming to save you and me -- not the distance between heaven and earth, not the difficulty of an unexpected pregnancy for his unmarried mother, not a city full of travelers and parents tired from a long journey, certainly not a maniacal king who sought to snuff out his life, not jeering mobs crying crucify him, not disciples that abandoned him, not soldiers that mocked him, not a scourge that raked his flesh, and not a cross that claimed his physical life. So what makes you think he would let you go or give up on you after his love has captured your heart? less

[Jesus said]''Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.''...... Thoughts on This Verse... Love is much more than a feeling or an attitude: love is an action. When we love, we show it by our deeds. As disciples of Jesus, our love is shown by our obedience to the things Jesus taught. Of course, that obedience brings an incredible blessing -- Jesus reveals himself to those who obey him! less

Rev Terence BeanGod wants you to know that if you would rather live than die, all is in your hands.
Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute, day by dragging day, in all the thousand small uncaring ways.

Welcome to our Temple's place on the web! Our Temple is called "Spiritual Connection Temple Of Many Houses". We have chosen to call our Temple this because all of our Temple's members come from various different belief systems and backgrounds. We came together in a common idea that all people have the same basic goals and have a different way of honoring their God(s)/Goddess(es). No-one's religious belief is "right" or "wrong", just different. We have everything from Christians to Pagans and everything in between in our Temple. We all follow the light in our paths. We have a temple structure and within the structure we have a Senior Elder, Elders, Circle Members, Initiates, and Neophytes. Depending on the path that a Neophyte/Initiate follows or chooses to learn, they can become an Apprentice of that path to someone with a higher level of experience. Everyone is a Brother or Sister no matter what level within our temple they are and we can all learn from each other. Everyone will be respected.
This group is for everyone to share experiences, losses, personal trauma, miracles and requests for prayer. God truly does love everyone, without discrimination.
We wish for everyone to feel welcome, loved and safe. Please do not harass other members. If anyone is ever feeling at a point where they are thinking of harming themselves or another, please contact an Admin immediately. We are here to help one another through the bad times as well as the good.
This group is for those who wish to get and maintain an online presence with their Church, Spiritual Center or Officiant Service. Assistance can be provided with web sites and social media as well as sharing other online resources.
For those involved in ministries and Churches in the United States. However all are welcome to participate!
I would like to create a cohesive group of Minister's who either have or wish to open a ULC Church or Bible study and move forward with creating a hierarchy within the ULC itself, not just this region, but nationally and then internationally.
