She is hiding the results. Here are a couple other family updates. Last Sunday, Jasen's Brother Joseph, age 23, was climbing a wall at a BoyScout camp, the wind blew and he decided to jump the rest of the way down thinking it was only a few feet. It was twenty feet down and he landed on his left foot shattering both bones below the knee into a compound spiral fracture. He had surgery Monday and it was put back together using pins and screws oh my. It was my turn next. Thursday night I had a Major Heart Attack resulting in a large arterial stent. I am still in the Nebraska Medical Center flown in via Med Evac from Oakland, Nebraska. I hope to go home Sunday or Monday. Also lost in a one vehicular roll over was Christina's 16 year old former Baby Sitter Deseray who died the Friday before Joseph broke his leg. There is just too much negativity in this World and I intend to stop in Peace. This is a little much for a Seven Day Period fo...    less

  • Personal Beliefs I was raised Presbyterian, but now I would describe myself as more of a Gnostic Christian. I also read a good bit of Torah/Talmud/Kabbalah. I believe the rediscovered texts, especially the Nag'Hamadi texts are closer to the true history of Christ's life and teachings, far more than the 'sanitized' canon decided by the Pagan Roman Emperor Constantine and the power hungry /misogynistic early Roman Catholics of the day. • Letter

    Posted December 3, 2009

This came in my email.  While we can not know exactly what Jesus would say in a letter, the sentiment of this letter keeps with the Gospel's and is a loving way at looking at the season.  I did not write this but do like the sentiment.  Even non-Christians can take away some compassion from this 'letter'. &#...

Although I can probably guess which direction most of the active members here will head, I thought I would do a political poll in the interest of all of us seeing which way things bend. Regretfully they only allow one choice, but I will try to include as many as I can. Comments are always welcome. Please excuse spelling errors as my spellcheck does not seem to be working.
