Just give me my paper and pen to get my writing done. But seriously, I don't think it will go that far, the prez is up against a great deal of pressure on this one from all of the Churches and even our Jewish brothers and sisters are behind us on this one, so we are standing together and all of the top mainline leaders testified to the Senate we are all willing to go to jail on this one, so the pressure is on. If it comes down to it, homechile da prez will back down if he even remotely thinks about wanting a second term.  less

Will the Westboro Baptist church be able to picket funerals right in the middle of ceremonies or stone gay people do death because it is something they believe. Those that are cult leaders in prison for acting in accodance with their beleifs have to be released. Those cult leaders went to prison for doing what they believed in too.

There is no true seperation, In the whitehouse there is a Roman catholic office where bishops and other high RC personal are housed so that should the president call upon them they are right there. Now where do I stand? well thats simple, Against anything brought on by our goverment that directly violates religion!

All we personally care about and I might add we informed the local RC diocese of, is the separation of Church and state issue. The RC is concerned about this issue on two fronts as we are only concerned on one front.

Do you realize what they can open themselves up for on this? If they force us to provide this then we should be able to force them into putting a cross on every public building or placing manger scenes on public property. It's tit for tat, so it's best they let this go as this could lead to a religious war in this country.  less

Personal Information

  • Ordination Date October 3, 1991
  • Personal Beliefs Our Church is a full gospel Pentecostal Charismatic Church that does not discriminate against anyone. On a personal note, I was originally ordained and licensed as a minister in a large Pentecostal Church denomination back in 1991, and left that Church, due to their beliefs on certain personal rights issues and a few issues I find very disturbing in many of today's Fundamental Churches. Almost 10 years later a handful of others and myself formed our denomination the Church of God (Johnstown, PA). I have been in constant and deep study of the Bible and religion as a whole since I was a boy, and am well qualified in theology, Biblical study, and the study of other religions. Although my Ph.D. is in another field, it has helped me to bridge gaps between religion and science. As a person well hmmm, let's see!!! For fun, I love to play golf, tennis, swim, workout, fence, box, fish, ski, go scuba diving, and take my sailboat out on the lake. I am an amature photographer, and love to take photos of our place here, the gardens, and the animals. I play the guitar and piano, and it really relaxes me on quiet evenings. My other half and I work a great deal with troubled pre-teens and teens, and I also teach boxing, health education and citizenship to the kids that are part of our Youth Program and Church. Young people are our future and helping to bring out the best in them is very rewarding. I love the Lord my God with all of my heart, mind, body and soul, and spirit and doing His work is where I find my joy and main happiness in life. Partnership is a rich word for me. It is more than simply linking churches together in districts or conferences. More appropriately, it is a “web of relationships” working together in mutual respect and trust. Partnership is characterized by deacons and elders, laity and clergy, those exhortered, ordained and those who are licensed, congregations and communities all fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. These temporal partnerships are simply a reflection of the divine partnership between Jesus Christ and the Church. For this reason, it is important to me, that we create an atmosphere of trust and collegiality with those who make up the context of ministry, reminding us that we are the Body of Christ. When we are in the presence of Christ, even in the midst of our diversity, we can be in a spirit of unity. If you want to know more, just ask, I am an open book. Thanks for reading this, and I wish you all the very best in life and what it has to offer I am always here to counsel and lend an ear to anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. May God Bless you and yours.

    Posted January 29

I took part in an online conference earlier this evening, where several men of God of various denominations, discussed issues facing the Church today.  I was struck by one brother's attempt to make explanation of what he claims as truth in some Scripture we were discussing.  If men who claim to believe the Bible would be honest en...

    Posted January 16

If I were to ask you what has made America great, your reply would partially be based from the type of glasses you viewed the nation under when growing up in an America home. To a conservative business family, it is the free enterprise system. To the average socially liberal American, our greatness is our tolerance. To people of faith who love t...

Every day in my office I have a regular routine when I arrive. • Was Jesus Born On December 25th?

    Posted December 31, 2011

I have read the many posts and blogs concerning this same question here on the ULC and on other sites.  To be honest I did not want to even post on the subject until I read something sent to me just before Christmas.   Last year, in response to the growing number of Christians who celebrate Hanukkah but hate Christmas, ...

She told me she feels as if she is...

  • My Take On Tolerance.

    Posted November 25, 2011

For the past few months, the subject of "TOLERANCE" has been a major debating issue here on the ULC boards. I have read many blogs, polls, and other posts dealing with this subject, and everyone has their take on this subject. So for about a good month I have buried my face into everything I can get my hands on, and read up on this subject that ...

  • Why Does God Let Bad Things Happen In The World?

    Posted November 10, 2011

Hmmmmm!!! Why does God let bad things happen in the world? Let's see here now. I could be arrogant and say, "let's try to answer this for those who SHOULD be able to get it" but that is totally not my style. Instead my style is to offer what I have found and know to be true and yes I said WHAT I PERSONALLY know to to be true. I have been through...

Where it be how your day went, or some interesting things you may have to say about your own faith or even the common faith many of us share. I come in here because I CARE and ...
