I have recently attended a Catholic Church after being invited by a Brother of that church. I too had missgivings about the Catholic Church but after realizing that all the ceremony and stuff I did not like, I looked at all the ceremony the Jewish had in the Temple and realized the Catholics are not so bad after all. Maybe we all should praise God more that his Son. After all God created us and Jesus. Give just due to the right one and then honor his creation second. Even the Protestants are guilty of over praising Jesus and not the God who created him. Yes, give God the glory first. The first fruits!  less

Yule was celebrated by cutting down a pine tree, decorating it in honour of Wodan(God). Then Wodan would drop off present to the good children on his way back from the underworld. This is a very quick explanation but know you can still enjoy the holiday and be a pagan. So for next year happy yule and may the light of the divine be with you.

However, as I understand the bible tat the Westboro Baptist Church are so fond of thumpting, homosexuality is spoken against in Leviticus. Now, this is old testament and maps more or less with the third book of the Tanakh. It forms part of the Mosaic laws. However, the new testament explicitly states that the Mosaic laws do not apply to the followers of Christ - so shellfish may be eaten and it is not necessary to ritually purify yourself after a deep sleep. So, it is a Jewish rule if it is any kind of rule. The Westboro Baptist Church has been kind enough to share their views on Judaism (They are not keen) so I have to wonder why they are so concerned about following a rule that according to their holy book only applies to Jews. I hope that I have not offended anyone with my poor understanding of scripture.  less
